Well, of course, it matters. I am not going to sit here and say that the solution is completely irrelevant.
However, this is a conversation that I have with a lot of spray tan business owners who are trying to take their business to the next level.
Let me explain.
The actual spray tan solution that you use can make a world of difference in the outcome of the tans. In fact, finding the best spray tan solution is a challenging task and one that I think is different for everyone.
Once you find a product that fits the needs for your clients, then you can check that off the list, so to speak.
In other words, it’s time to move onto things that will move your business forward.
Rather than spend time researching products, scouring the Facebook forums and paying for more samples, you could use that time, energy and money to grow your business in other ways.
Here are some ideas of things you could invest in instead:
- Networking with other local businesses
- Networking with local mom groups
- Dropping of business cards at local gyms, bridal shops, etc.
- Re-vamping your website
- Investing in private sunless tanning groups
- Investing in mentors
- Hiring someone to handle your social media
Some of this may not seem realistic to you. But if you think about the time and money you put into testing new products, you’d be surprised.
I am not telling you to never try new products. I would set 2-3 times per year that you test products and leave it at that.
The rest of the year you should be focused on growing your business and better serving your clients.
